what we aim at

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, for both this website and the Lifelong app. In practice that means the things we hold ourselves to as we build:

• Everything operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
• Text and controls that meet the contrast ratios, and layouts that survive being zoomed or having the text size increased
• Form fields with real labels, and errors announced rather than only coloured red
• Meaningful structure — headings, lists and tables that mean something to a screen reader, not just to the eye
• Motion that respects your system’s reduce-motion setting

what we have not done

We have not been formally audited against WCAG 2.2 AA, by anyone. We have not published a VPAT or an Accessibility Conformance Report. So we are not claiming conformance — we are telling you what we aim at and what we have tested, which is our own review as we build rather than an independent assessment. There will be barriers we have not found. If we complete an audit, this page will say so, with its date and scope.

telling us about a barrier

If any part of Lifelong is difficult or impossible for you to use, email privacy@trylifelong.com and tell us what happened. It helps if you can say what you were trying to do, what page or screen you were on, and what you use to browse — a screen reader, magnification, voice control, keyboard only — but tell us even if you cannot.

We will acknowledge within 10 business days, the same window we hold ourselves to for a privacy request. We will tell you what we found, whether we are fixing it, and when — and if we cannot fix it quickly we will tell you that instead of going quiet, and try to find you another way to do the thing you were trying to do.
